VAT declaration deadlines in Belgium

• The VAT return for the 4th quarter of 2024 must be submitted by January 25, 2025 at the latest.
• The VAT return for the 1st quarter of 2025 must be submitted by April 25, 2025 at the latest.
• The VAT return for the 2nd quarter of 2025 must be submitted by July 25, 2025 at the latest.
• The VAT return for the 3rd quarter of 2025 must be submitted by October 25, 2025 at the latest.
• The VAT return for the 4th quarter of 2025 must be submitted by January 25, 2026 at the latest.

VAT Payment Deadlines in Belgium

The payment deadline for the VAT return is the same as the submission deadline. However, for the 4th quarter of 2024, the payment deadline is January 27, 2025. For more information, consult the Periodic return page of the FPS Finance Belgium.

Monthly Returns

For monthly VAT returns, the submission and payment deadlines are on the 20th of the month, except for March 22.
